DrawAI capabilities and user guide

Edit several pages in one request, create editable slides and images, and learn about previews, approvals, undo and the chat’s limits.

Opening and arranging the chat

Open a presentation page in the editor and choose the AI magic icon or DrawAI. The chat works with that presentation and opens on an actual editable page. Drag the header to move the panel and its edges to resize it. Its position and size are remembered in this browser for your account. With the header focused, arrow keys move it, Shift + arrow keys resize it, and Home restores its starting position. Minimize the panel to see more of the canvas; minimizing keeps the conversation and an ongoing request. Press Enter to send and Shift + Enter for a new line. Use the report icon in the chat header if you encounter a problem.

Describing the change

Specify the pages or elements to change, what must stay, the output language, palette and exact data. DrawAI can use the other pages of the current presentation as context. If you name no other target, the current page and selected elements are the starting point; the context row shows that page and selection. Select a block before asking to change that element. For several pages, identify each by its name or number in the editor’s page list. Write in Turkish or English and explicitly request a different content language when needed. You can ask to rewrite, shorten, expand or translate supported text while preserving names, dates and figures. Existing slide text is reference material. Requests affect the current presentation; they do not authorize changes to other presentations. Supply the facts you need and check the resulting copy and data.

Costs, previews and applying changes

Send the request, review the credit estimate and choose Prepare or type Prepare. The estimate is an upper bound; actual provider use determines the charge. Enable Automatically approve all credit requests to skip this billing prompt for your account and this presentation in the current browser session. Turn it off anytime. Preview and edit confirmations still apply. Explicit approval is required when a proposal deletes any block, changes 3 or more existing pages, or you ask to review before applying. Say “Show a preview before applying” even for a small edit to keep the proposal pending. Review the resulting page previews and counts of added, changed and removed elements, then choose Apply changes or type Apply. Discard cancels the proposal. An ordinary edit to 1 or 2 existing pages without block deletion may apply directly after credit approval. Creating new pages alone does not trigger the confirmation rule. Credit approval pays for preparation; approving a pending proposal is a separate step.

Stopping, recovery and undo

Choose Stop while a request is running, or Discard for an unapplied proposal. A cancelled proposal cannot later be applied, but provider work already completed may consume credits. If saving has already completed, use Undo the last AI operation instead. If the connection is interrupted, use Check saved status before sending the request again. Checking the saved request does not start another paid generation. An expired proposal needs a new request using the current presentation. Use Undo the last AI operation or type Undo to restore the last applied AI operation. A multi-page operation is undone as a whole, including pages created by it. Undo is available only while its affected pages still match the applied result and it remains the latest AI change. Later edits by you or a teammate can prevent undo. If the presentation changes while a proposal is being prepared or awaiting approval, DrawAI rejects the outdated proposal; refresh and request it again. Manual editor undo remains separate.

Supported content and limits

DrawAI creates and edits native slide elements that remain editable in the editor. It can add, change or remove supported blocks, update page details, create new pages and navigate within the current presentation. Only currently enabled modules and their supported properties are available to the chat. Complex modules still need checking in the editor and presentation mode; module support does not guarantee every nested setting or interaction will be correct. A request can create at most 12 new pages. Your plan’s total page and per-presentation limits also apply. This chat cannot process a presentation larger than 200 pages; dense content can also exceed its context capacity below that count. Split lengthy requests into smaller, clearly named page groups. DrawAI still reads the whole presentation, so a context capacity error may require a smaller presentation. Editing requires presentation access and AI permission; locked blocks cannot be changed or deleted until you unlock them in the editor. Check text length, layout, figures and media on every affected page before sharing. Conversation history is kept for your account and presentation in this browser session; ending the session does not remove saved presentation changes.

Editing several pages in one request

Yes: DrawAI can edit several pages of the same presentation in one request. You do not need to open and send a separate message for each page. Give the page names or numbers, a shared design rule, and any differences or content to preserve. Example: “On pages 2, 3 and 4, named Problem, Solution and Pilot, use navy headings and turquoise accents, align the titles, and keep all dates and figures. Show a preview before applying.” DrawAI prepares one proposal covering those pages. All approved changes are saved together; a failed save does not leave only part of the proposal applied. Undo restores that whole AI operation when no later changes conflict with it. Changing at least 3 existing pages always requires approval. Only one request can run at a time in the same chat. Multi-page editing means one proposal with several page changes. Wait for it to finish or stop it before sending the next request. Sending a new request replaces older pending proposals.

Creating editable pages

Ask for a complete short deck, a missing section, an opening page or a closing page using the content you supply. DrawAI creates native text and design elements, so you can continue editing them manually. New pages are added after the existing pages. Distinguish total pages from additional pages. Example: “Create five total pages about our pilot: cover, problem, solution, milestones and next steps. Use this empty page as the cover and add four new pages. Write in English, use navy and turquoise, and show a preview before applying.” You can create up to 12 new pages per request, subject to package capacity. For a longer presentation, request a smaller section, review it, then continue with the next section. Describe what to preserve when the current page already has content.

Text, native modules and layout

Use DrawAI to rewrite or translate text, adjust supported fonts, sizes, weights, line spacing, alignment and colours, and make text boxes fit the copy. Ask to move or resize elements, group or ungroup them, and bring them forward or send them backward in the layer stack. Supported module properties can control borders, backgrounds, opacity and other visual details. Native content can include text, shapes, colour surfaces, icons and existing images, plus supported charts, tables, timelines, statistics and cards. Supply the actual chart values, table cells or timeline dates. Describe the display you need rather than assuming DrawAI knows missing business data. Available modules depend on which ones are enabled for AI use. Example: “Keep the wording and numbers of the selected three elements. Align them horizontally, make their widths equal, use 32 px body text and group them. Show a preview before applying.” Inspect complex content and interactive or media modules in presentation mode. Use their property panels for details the chat cannot change.

Page names, backgrounds and navigation

Ask to rename an existing page, change its background colour or padding, or reuse an image or video already present in the presentation as its background. Supported background controls include fit, position, repeat, opacity and overlay colour and opacity. DrawAI keeps the presentation’s current canvas dimensions. Example: “Rename this page Pilot results, set the background to #F4F7FC, use 60 px padding, and keep the existing elements.” To move to another page, say “Go to the page named Next steps.” Edit mode can reuse media from the current presentation. It does not fetch a new photo or video from a web address; add the media through the editor’s media tools first, or use Image mode for a new generated image.

Generating and placing a new image

Use the Image tab to generate one new bitmap per request for the page where you send the request. Describe the subject, composition, style, colours and space needed for slide text, then choose 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16. The ratio belongs to the generated image and does not resize the presentation canvas. Example: “An editorial illustration of a pilot project moving from idea to implementation, navy and turquoise, no text, with clear space on the left for a heading.” Review the credit estimate for the configured image model and choose Prepare, unless automatic credit approval is enabled. The generated source is stored before placement. DrawAI shows the page with a proposed native image block and always waits for separate placement approval. Choose Apply changes to add it or Discard to leave the page as it is. Existing images remain intact. Undo removes the added block when allowed; the stored source remains, and undo or discarding placement does not refund completed generation. To edit an existing image with AI, select it and use the image toolbar. The DrawAI Image tab generates a new source; it does not retouch the selected image.

Useful requests to try

Multi-page design: “Give the pages named Problem, Solution and Pilot the same title size and accent colour. Keep all copy and figures. Show a preview before applying.” Selected text: “Rewrite the selected paragraph in plain English for investors. Keep every name, date and number. Use at most three sentences and show a preview before applying.” Exact data: “On this page, add a bar chart with January 18, February 24 and March 31. Label the axis Completed pilots. Do not add other months or values. Show a preview before applying.” Deletion: “Remove only the selected decorative shape. Keep all text and other elements.” Block deletion will ask for approval. Preview preparation: “On the page named Next steps, add a closing title and two action cards from this text: [paste your text]. Show a preview before applying.” Review the proposal, then apply it or discard it.

Tasks outside this chat

DrawAI does not delete or reorder pages in this chat. Use the editor’s page list for those actions. It does not browse the web, research current facts, or read a website supplied as a link. Provide the relevant information in your request. PPTX or attachment import, file export, publishing and sharing, account or subscription management, and video generation are outside this chat. Use the corresponding presentation, media or account tools. PPTX and attachment import is documented in the separate “Create slides from PPTX, documents and images” help guide. For AI editing of an existing image, use the image toolbar. DrawAI cannot change locked blocks, access permissions or other presentations through this conversation. If a requested module, property or asset is unavailable, narrow the request or use its editor controls.
